Salvation Matters 4U Ministries founding Pastor Michael B. (Mike) Shields entered the ministry after his mother had experienced an 11 year battle with a particularly nasty type of dementia. During this time, Mike observed that many people in nursing homes were still able, despite diminished mental capacity, to be reached with the Gospel. This forms the basis for our print ministry.
Pastor Mike then had the opportunity to become a radio and TV broadcast Pastor with POM Ministries and spent two years with POM Ministries before Joining City of God radio as one of their broadcast Pastors. That opportunity lasted the better part of a year.
After much prayerful consideration, Pastor Mike decided to start a dedicated print and eMinistry. It is his sincere hope that he can bring as many people as possible to know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
